Selling a house FSBO (For Sale By Owner) can be a good way to save some money in the selling process.  With listing agent commissions generally ranging from 5-7% that can be a significant amount of money, especially in higher priced areas like Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire where you can easily have a sale in the $300 or $400 thousands for a modest home.  However the process can be a little confusing if you do not have much experience with it.  A GOOD real estate agent can definitely add a lot of value to you but the key is finding an agent that is very good at their job and will market your property to get maximum exposure, price the home to get a lot of interest but also the best price, negotiate the best deal when you get an offer and then guide you through the closing process with minimal stress.  Those are great agents, and are somewhat rare hence why many people attempt FSBO.  One area where FSBO makes a lot of sense is if your house will have issues qualifying for bank financing and the main pool of buyers will be investors.  In this case they normally will not be working with an agent and no commissions will be needed and even at a lower price you will net more of the sale price without giving back that 5-7%.  If you would like to sell your house fast and easy with no commissions you can get in touch with us today!
